Harry Potter @ Myer, Melbourne CBD

On Friday the 6th of December Penelope, Benjamin and I went to the Harry Potter store at Myer in the Melbourne CBD. Penny had told me about the pop-up store well over a month ago so I budgeted and planned this trip. I am a 'Pott-Head' and so are Penny and Benjamin. I love anything Harry Potter. Typo is my new favourite store for anything Harry Potter or Hogwarts-related, I'm still relatively new to the shop though.

Well at the pop-up store, I was like a little kid, I was soooo excited. We had to go there by public transport to save on parking. I haven't been on a train in way over 20 years or more. I really am surprised and proud of myself - we train-ed, tram-ed, and walked!

I packed lunch but I shouted myself a cappuccino in Myer.

Well it was EPIC. I had a photo taken of me in the invisibility cloak; and all of us had a photo at Platform 9 and 3/4 in cloaks, scarves, and wands. I bought a wand, cloak, notebook, and pack of playing cards in a tin.

My Harry Potter collection is getting very good and in the near future Jacob and I are looking for a display cabinet with a lock, so that I can display all of my collections including my Pop Vinyls.

I have the first 10 including a rare one of Harry Potter, and a 10-inch Hagrid as he is a giant in the films.

My rare Harry I bidded for on eBay well over 2 years ago and won. Out of curiosity I checked the price of it on eBay recently and it's doubled in price!

The city has changed a lot since I worked in there, so many changes and more people. It's amazing - so multicultural.

Well if you are a fellow 'Potthead' I highly recommend going to this pop-up store in Myer Melbourne. It's there until next December 2020. It was one of the most happiest days of my life, I will remember this day forever. I went with my friends too which was great.
